WI-FI AIRPORT TRAVELING RETRACTION
In our most recent communiqué we passed on a tip from one of our missionaries about Wi-Fi use in an airport.
We shared it with all of you assuming that it was very much like the Wi-Fi connections offered at the Atlanta Bread Company Restaurant here in Atlanta – and not dependent on any purchase.
Many of you have written to share it not only falls short of God’s best from an ethical perspective but is, very likely, illegal. We have often received compliments over the travel tips we pass on from our missionary clients – and will continue our practice to do so. However, we hasten to communicate with you again to withdraw this suggestion. As members of the Body of Christ, our reputations are valued more highly than silver or gold. Not being an attorney, I am unable to speak to its legality. However, as Scripture clearly points out, many things are legal but not all are profitable. This, apparently, is one of them.
For those of you that took the time to faithfully write as a living testimony to Matthew 18, thank you! We are better for it. For those I have offended, I ask your forgiveness. It, truly, was an honest mistake.
Cordially in Christ,
Blake Lawson, President Missionary Airfare Search www.MissionaryAirfareSearch.com reservations@cherokeetravel.net 800-910-2949 |
